Trip Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Kathgodam and drive to Munsiyari 8-9 hrs.an altitude - 7100 ft.
Arrive at Kathgodam at 06:30 hrs. Meet your escort and after a brief rest, transfer to your waiting vehicle. Drive to Munsiyari and check-in at the hotel.
Day 2 Munsyari to Jimighat, Lilam Village 1 hrs drive then 2-3 hrs trek to Paton Village an altitude - 8600 ft.
After breakfast, drive 20 km to Jimighat and commence trekking. Pass through Jimighat and Lilam village to reach Paton Village (7 km), surrounded by dense forests, where we camp overnight.
Day 3 Paton Village to Lingurani camp 5-6 hrs. trek an altitude - 10,400 ft.
Today involves a strenuous hike along a gorge beside the river, with varied terrain of ups and downs. The campsite is situated near the river, flanked by towering rocks on the opposite side.
Day 4 Lungrani camp to Killadum camp 5-6 hrs trek an altitude - 11,900 ft.
The valley now opens up, offering a more even terrain with gentle undulations. The walk leads past Killadum camp, where breathtaking views of Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Trishuli, Hardeol, and Brijgang Peaks await.
Day 5 Killadam camp to Ralam Village 4-5 hrs trek an altitude - 11,200 ft.
Today’s walk involves a slightly strenuous descent to the crossing followed by a climb up to Ralam village. Passing through Ralam village, we camp in a small meadow near the tree line’s end.
Day 6 Ralam village to Ralam Glacier back to Ralam Village max altitude - 12,600 ft.
We commence our ascent in the early morning, trekking for 3-4 hours towards the Ralam glacier. The expansive northern wall of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary comes into clear view, dominated by the twin peaks towering on the left. The breathtaking panorama invites contemplation, offering countless peaks to marvel at. Afterward, we descend to camp near Ralam village, concluding our day amidst the serene surroundings.
Day 7 Ralam Village to Lungrani 8-9 hrs trek downhill an altitude - 10,400 ft.
We descend through the river gorge until reaching Lungrani village, where our path begins a steady ascent. Upon arrival, we establish camp and spend the night there, surrounded by the tranquil landscape.
Day 8 Lingurani Village to Munsiyari via Paton village 8-9 hrs trek and 1 hrs. drive to Munsiyari overnight stay in hotel.
We descend alongside the Gori Ganga gorge until reaching Jimighat, then begin a gradual ascent to the village of Jimighat. From there, we board a waiting jeep that transports us to Munsyari, where we settle in for the night.
