Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Kathgodam drive to Munsiyari 8-9 hrs drive to Munsiyari an altitude - 7100 ft.
Upon arrival at Kathgodam, our vehicles will await you for a picturesque drive through Almora, Bageshwar, Chowkri, and Tejam to Munsiyari. Rest comfortably in tents or a rest house upon reaching your destination.
Day 2 Munsiyari to Bugudiyar camp 1 hrs.drive then 5-6 hrs trek to camp an altitude - 7300 ft.
From Munsiyari, a 28 km drive leads to Rargari, where our trail up the hill begins. Trekking to Bugudiyar camp ensures arrival in good time to stay overnight at the tiny rest house.
Day 3 Bogudiar camp to Rilkot camp 6-7 hrs trek an altitude - 10,100 ft.
The true Trans-Himalayan terrain and trekking experience begins here. After breakfast, trek to Rilkot village. Set up camp by the river upon arrival. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 4 Rilkot Camp to Milam village 7-8 hrs trek an altitude - 11,800 ft.
The landscape becomes increasingly arid, with deserted villages until reaching Burphu village, backed by Burphu Peak (6300 m). Views of the eastern side of Nanda Devi East emerge as you approach Milam village.
Day 5 Milam village to visit Milam glacier 6-7 hrs trek max. altitude - 12,700 ft.
A steep and expansive trek leads into the Johar Valley, dominated by the north face of Hardeol peak above the Pachhu glacier. There is a campsite located 3 km from the base of Malari Pass along this route.
Day 6 Trek from Milam village to Martoli village 5-6 hrs trek an altitude-11,700 ft.
The excursion from Milam village to Martoli village via Burfu village is feasible. The path may be slippery with clear ice exposed by debris from previous treks, requiring caution when crossing the left bank of the Gori Ganga river.
Day 7 Martoli village to Bugudiyar camp 5-6 hrs an altitude - 7200 ft.
After breakfast, continue trekking towards Munsiyari, reaching Bugudiyar camp. Dinner and overnight stay in huts.
Day 8 Bugudiyar camp to Munsiyari 5-6 hrs trek and 1 hrs drive an altitude - 7200 ft.
After breakfast, trek to Lilam village, followed by a jeep ride to Munsiyari. Dinner and overnight stay at a guesthouse or tents.
Day 9 Munsyari to Kathgodam 8-9 hrs drive & Departure.
The atmosphere during our drive back to Almora from Munsiyari is tinged with sadness at leaving behind such an enchanting landscape.
