Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Joshimath check-in in hotel.
Arrive in Joshimath by 7 PM after a drive from Dehradun. Check into a guesthouse or hotel for an overnight stay. Prepare for your next adventure as you rest and rejuvenate in the scenic surroundings.
Day 2 Joshimath to Alaknanda Camp via Khirao 2 hrs drive and 3 km trek,altitude - 8500 ft.
Drive from Joshimath to Hanuman Chatti, crossing a suspension bridge over the Alaknanda River at Khirao. Camp at a clearing above the Khirao Ganga and Alaknanda confluence after a short walk. Enjoy dinner and retire for the night in tents.
Day 3 Alaknanda Camp to Shepherd Camp 3 - 5 hrs. trek, max altitude - 11700 ft.
Today, trek to Khirao village after a gradual ascent from the campsite. In summer, villagers tend to terraced farms or move to higher meadows. After a steep climb past the village and grassy slopes, reach your campsite for the night. Enjoy dinner and rest in tents.
Day 4 Shepherd Camp to Snout Camp 3 - 4 hrs. trek, max. altitude - 12800 ft.
A short walk from Shepherd’s Camp leads to the Panpatia Glacier snout, just 10 minutes from the campsite. Set up tents at the Snout Camp and retire for the night, enjoying the serene glacial surroundings.
Day 5 Snout Camp to Moraine Camp 3-4 hrs. trek max altitude - 14100 ft.
Today’s trek involves a long uphill walk on a never-ending moraine, offering glimpses of snow patches for varied and easier progress. Spot Chaukhamba for the first time. Set up tents at the moraine camp for the night, enjoy dinner, and rest in tents.
Day 6 Moraine Camp to Parvati Gully Base Camp 4-5 hrs trek max altitude - 15100 ft.
Trek from the moraine camp to the base of Parvati Col, involving a short yet steep walk that brings you near the Panpatia snowfield. Camp just below Parvati Col, enjoy dinner, and retire for the night in tents.
Day 7 Parvati Gully B.C to Panpatia Snowfield Camp 4-5 hrs. trek altitude - 17,100 ft. via Parvati Col altitude - 16,700 ft.
To continue, navigate the steep snow and rock gully using fixed ropes. Enter the pure snow domain, with Chaukhamba rising magnificently. With luck, catch a view of Nanda Devi. After crossing Parvati Col, reach the vast Panpatia snowfield to camp for the night.
Day 8 Panpatia Snowfield Camp to Sujal Sarovar 5-6 hrs. trek altitude - 15,500 ft. via Panpatia Col altitude - 17,257 ft.
Traverse a long, mostly flat path with a short climb to reach Panpatia Col, offering stunning views of mountains, glaciers, and vast snowfields. Set up tents near Sujal Sarovar for an overnight stay. Enjoy dinner and rest for the night.
Day 9 Sujal Sarovar to Kachni 4-5 km trek max altitude - 13,600 ft.
Today, trek to Kanchni Tal. After passing a small pass above Sujal Sarovar, descend steep snowy slopes and boulder zones to reach Kanchni. The meadow offers views of the Madhmaheshwar Ganga. Camp here for the night, enjoy dinner, and rest in tents.
Day 10 Kachni to Nanu Chatti 3-4 hrs. trek max altitude - 10.600 ft.
Trek to Nanu Chatti, taking 3-4 hours to reach Madhmaheshwar Temple beyond oak forests. Follow the paved trail to Ransi village road head, a small summer home settlement for Gaundhar villagers. Enjoy an overnight stay in tents.
Day 11 Nanu Chatti to Ransi Village 6-7 hrs. trek max altitude - 6,300 ft.
Walk to Ransi village along the Madhmaheshwar Temple trail, then drive to Rudraprayag. From there, depart to your next destination, concluding your journey.
