This trek is also known as the Annapurna Base Camp Sanctuary trek, offering an incredible combination of diverse cultures, traditions, and nature. It is more than just a trek; it's a lifetime experience. The authentic Himalayan trekking in the Nepal Himalayas serves as a perfect introduction to the natural splendor of the region, taking you across a range of beautiful landscapes. The highest mountains in this valley include Gangapurna (7,455 meters), Machapuchare (6,993 meters), and Himalchuli (7,893 meters). However, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers more than just spectacular scenery. It is renowned as one of the best treks in Nepal, providing cultural diversity and the opportunity to interact with people from various ethnic backgrounds. The mountain communities in the Annapurna region are predominantly Gurung and Magar villages. During the trek, you will visit monasteries, temples, and shrines significant to their primarily Buddhist faith. Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Pokhara
Upon arrival in Pokhara, our dedicated team will warmly welcome you. Following introductions, we’ll conduct a brief orientation to provide essential journey details and address any questions. This initial meeting sets the stage for a memorable adventure with our experienced team.
Day 2: Drive Pokhara to Nayapul (3,810 ft) - 41 km / 2 hrs. Trek Nayapul - Ghandruk (6,570 ft) - 11 km / 5 -6 hours.
Today marks the start of the Annapurna Base Camp trek (ABC) with Ghandruk as our first destination, a picturesque Gurung village. We begin with a 2-3 hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, followed by a descent to Birethanti and a crossing of the Bhurungdi River via an old suspension bridge.
Day 3: Ghandruk to Lower Sinuwa (7,415 ft) - 11 km / 5-6 hrs trek.
Today’s trek is a dynamic journey on foot, resembling a roller coaster ride. We traverse Ghandruk village, then ascend 250 meters to Kimrong Danda camp, offering panoramic mountain views. Descending sharply 450 meters through oak and rhododendron forests, we cross Kimrong Khola at the valley floor.
Day 4: Lower Sinuwa to Deurali (10,500 ft) - 12 km / 5- 6 hrs trek.
Beginning from Lower Sinuwa, the trek ascends 200 meters to Upper Sinuwa, boasting stunning views of the higher valley. The trail starts flat, winding through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests. In April, blooming rhododendrons and birdsongs enhance this scenic highlight of the trek.
Day 5: Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (12,100 ft) - 4 km / 3 hrs trek.
Today is a shorter day on the Annapurna Base Camp trek due to the unavailability of accommodations at ABC since 2019. We’ll trek to Macchapuchhre Base Camp, ascending 500 m and crossing the Modi Khola twice, amidst sparsely vegetated slopes in the higher valley.
Day 6:Macchapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (13,451 ft) to Bamboo (7,582 ft) - 17 km / 7 hrs.
Begin your ascent to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) two hours before sunrise. Enjoy a gradual climb along the right lateral moraine of the Annapurna glacier, culminating in a breathtaking sunrise amidst towering peaks such as Hiunchuli and Annapurna South, with majestic Annapurna dominating the skyline.
Day 7: Bamboo to Jhinu (5,659 ft) - 9 km / 4 hrs trek.
Today’s trek leads from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda. Beginning with an ascent to Kuldhigar, we descend to cross the Chhomrong River bridge through Sinuwa. Passing the Gurung village of Chhomrong, a steep descent concludes our journey at Jhinu Danda.
Day 8: Jhinu to Nayapul - 12 km / 5 hrs and Drive to Pokhara - 40 km / 2 hrs
Today concludes in Pokhara. Crossing the Modi River bridge, the trail winds through bamboo forests and small settlements with terrace farms displaying seasonal crops until reaching Siwai. At Siwai, there’s the option to hire a jeep, bypassing the final 8 km hike to Nayapul.
Day 9:Depart from Pokhara
Departing from Pokhara marks the conclusion of the Annapurna Base Camp trekking adventure. Cherish memories of stunning landscapes and warm hospitality.
